I love the beach. I love to see people meditating alone by the ocean or taking long walks along the surf. I love the serenity, the beauty, the amazing sunsets. Yes, I’d say that I’m happiest on the beach; surrounded by life’s blessings.

“Consider the lilies of the field. Look at the fuzz on a baby’s ear. Read in the backyard with the sun on your face. Learn to be happy. And think of life as a terminal illness, because, if you do, you will live it with joy and passion, as it ought to be lived.” – Anne Quindlen

I’ve always loved photography but it wasn’t until my 40th birthday that I went out and got myself a professional Nikon camera, super 18-200mm lens and a MacBook for editing; essentials tools for any photography enthusiast.
Photography has been much more than a creative outlet for me. It’s often been cathartic; my salvation and cure all when feeling distraught… it’s during these moments that my sensitivity is at its best.
I tend to prefer taking Charlie to the beach at sunset, but today we ended up going for an early evening brisk walk around the Laguna Condado instead. It’s become safer as more and more people are jogging, cycling or simply walking like me. I particularly enjoy the mysterious shadows and refreshing breeze. Perfect backdrop for interesting images.
